What is MutaMarket?

MutaMarket is meant to be a platform for everything related to Abyssal modules in EVE Online. You can use MutaMarket to:

  • Buy and sell Abyssal modules
  • Appraise your modules' value
  • Manage your module inventory
  • Track market prices and trends

You can browse the market and appraise modules without an account. An account unlocks everything else: selling, offers, collections, the workbench, notes, bookmarks, and asset management.

How do I create an account?

To get started you need to create an account. For that, you will need to authenticate with your EVE Online character:

  1. Click the User icon in the navigation bar or visit the login page
  2. Authenticate with your EVE Online character through EVE SSO
  3. You're ready to use MutaMarket!

During login MutaMarket requests ESI scopes for reading your assets, structures, and contracts, and for opening windows in your EVE client (used for things like opening contracts in-game).

Can I add more than one character?

Yes. Accounts support multiple characters:

  • Add a character: Open the character dropdown in the navigation bar and choose "Add Character", then log in with the alt through EVE SSO. The character is attached to your existing account.
  • Switch character: Use "Switch Character" in the same dropdown. The active character is the one you act as — it is who sends offers and messages, and who new collections belong to.
  • Remove a character: "Remove Character" detaches a character from your account. You cannot remove your last character.
  • Corporation scopes: "Add Corporation Scopes" grants the additional ESI scope needed to import abyssal modules from corporation hangars for the active character.

If a character's ESI token expires or is missing scopes, the character menu shows a warning with a "Re-authenticate" link.

What can I configure on the Settings page?

The Settings page covers your account-level configuration:

  • EVE Mail & Raffles — choose which of your characters receives in-game notification mails.
  • Discord — connect your Discord account to receive offer notifications as direct messages, switch the linked account, and toggle "Show on profiles" to display your Discord name on your public character pages.
  • Twitch — connect your Twitch account and optionally display it on your character pages.
  • Patreon — connect your Patreon account and optionally display it on your character pages. Active Patreon supporters browse the site without ads.
  • Raffle Wins — your claimed raffle prizes with their redemption codes (see Donations & Raffles).

How do I change how the site looks?

Display preferences live directly on the module list pages, not in settings: switch between Grid, List, and Table views, choose an attribute-bar mode, and toggle attribute scores. See Browsing the market. Your choices are remembered across visits.
